These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the VaultSort application ("the App", "our App") operated by VaultSort ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using VaultSort, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this App.
License to Use
VaultSort grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on your Mac device in accordance with these Terms. You may:
- Install and use the App on devices you own or control
- Use the App for personal or commercial file management purposes
- Create backups of your data processed through the App
User Responsibilities
As a user of VaultSort, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have appropriate backups before using file deletion features
- Understanding the implications of secure deletion and encryption features
- Using the App in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Not using the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Maintaining the security of your Mac device and user accounts
Payment and Billing
VaultSort is available for purchase through the Mac App Store and our website. Payment processing is handled by Apple (for App Store purchases) or Paddle (for direct purchases). By making a purchase, you agree to the applicable payment processor's terms and conditions. All sales are processed securely, and we do not store your payment information.
Refund Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with VaultSort. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, subject to the following conditions:
- Refund requests must be made within 14 days of the original purchase date
- Refunds are processed through the original payment method
- For Mac App Store purchases, refunds are handled directly by Apple according to their refund policy
- For direct purchases through our website (processed by Paddle), contact us at vaultsortapp@gmail.com
- Processing time for refunds is typically 3-5 business days
Please note that after a refund is processed, your access to VaultSort will be terminated, and you must uninstall the application from your devices.
Data and Privacy
VaultSort operates entirely on your local device and does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on external servers. All file processing occurs locally on your Mac. For complete details about our data practices, please review our Privacy Policy. By using VaultSort, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of Warranties
VaultSort is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. While we strive to provide a reliable and secure application, we cannot guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. You use VaultSort at your own risk, and we strongly recommend maintaining backups of important files before using file modification features.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VaultSort and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to VaultSort immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately, and you must uninstall the App from all your devices.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VaultSort operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
